Obama: 20/01/2009

Today it is an historical day, first afro american president of the USA, that is causeing a strong impact on the African population and all ethnic minorities all over the world. Now we know that "yes we can" is real. Watching the news this morning on CCN I saw a report explaining that Kenyan mothers who had just given birth to their children, baptized them as the new president. Obama is the icon of many people. Is the is the character of the year... and it may be the character of this century...but already haven't done "anything"..we'll see.

Today it is the achievement of an entire people, many African and other ethnic groups they were taken out of their land and now they see the achievements of they "equals rights fights"...that is still current.

And that causes pride. Is a celebration because a new opportunity window is open for all African descentdents throughout the world.

Erasmus first season ends

This week, is a extrange and a sad week becase some friends are leaving Eindhoven ("4ever") and are going back to their countrys, erasmus first season is almost finishing (soon season 2). But on the other hand I'm very glad that I have met really nice interesting people and we've spend great moments that I'll always remember. Eindhoven is not a fantastic city ("ugly", small, grey and dark)...everybody knows that, but all the people that are here are makeing this city a special place (I'm a sentimental LoL).

Athough the world is large is becoming smaller (better communications), so I’m sure that luckily our paths will cross again in the future in other circumstances and environment.

To finish I'll like to put a video of the band "Pasta für Pavel" of my german friend Daniel, he knows that I am his spanish fan number nº1. I'll always remember the great recital that he made in Eindhoven, I was fascinated!

Utrech Tour

Last friday I went to Utrech with 3 great guys, it was a relly nice interesting and funny day. We went to visit the city and the University. It was funny and didactic to make a tour with 3 architects, visiting different buildings, they know how to appreciate buildings and other things...that other "simple mortals" like me...that we don't pay any attention we don't realize.

I must visit other cities here in the Netherlands but currently Utrech is the most beatiful city I've been. Always I've been there I've spend a great time!

I've decided to make this post to manifest against war and fight. War in Israel & Palestina, war in Iraq, war in Afganistan, terrorism in all the world, Congo Conflict, Russia & Tchechenia, and for all the conflicts I missed, and "don't have" a mediatic impact on the news.

My New Hero

I must say thank you to my collegue and friend Xavier Gorronyo, I spend 2 days without my bike....here in the netherlands losing your bike is like losing one leg. But this guy fix my broken wheel!!!! it was not and easy job....but he is a professional is not afraid about risks and difficulties...he is a fighter he is and innovator! He is my new heroe! I'm Thankful for what you've done, good job!

So Superman, Batman & Robin, and other heroes...be aware another hereo is shaping in Eindhoven..his name is "Gorroño, Javier Gorroño" with license to fix bikes!
